Adding your IMAP email to your Gmail app on an android phone and tablet

STEP 1.

Open the Gmail app on your Android device.

STEP 2.

Click the menu in the top left corner to open Settings.

STEP 3.

At the top of your screen, click the small arrow next to your name and email address to open Accounts. It looks like a triangle.

STEP 4.

Click Add account to start setup.

STEP 5.

Select Other as the account you want to set up.

STEP 6.

Type in the email address you want to set up. Click Next.

STEP 7.

Select IMAP as the account type.

STEP 8.

Type in your email password, the one you use to log in to Webmail. Click Next.

STEP 9.

Type in mail.yourdomain.com/co.uk as the incoming server.

For example, if your domain is www.juicywebcreations.co.uk, your mailserver will be mail.juicywebcreations.co.uk

Click Next.

STEP 10.

Type in mail.yourdomain.com/co.uk as the outgoing server.

For example, if your domain is www.juicywebcreations.co.uk, your mailserver will be mail.juicywebcreations.co.uk

Click Next.

STEP 11.

Here you set how often Gmail should look for new emails, when you get notifications and more. Uncheck any options you don't want and click Next to continue.

STEP 12.

Your account is now set up and ready to go!
